About This Blog
The Mahoning Valley Pride Center aims to promote community development and a sense of security among the gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgender and all questioning people in the Mahoning Valley through social, educational, and support programs, and the establishment of a safe place for these programs to take place. The community center, where LGBT persons and their allies may meet on common ground and without disguise, is organized and operated exlusively to educate and reduce prejudice and discrimination between the LGBT and heterosexual communities - and to relieve the effects of such prejudice and discrimination.
